Yoga is For Every Body

"The primary aim of yoga is to restore the mind to simplicity, peace, and poise, to free it from confusion and distress. This simplicity, this sense of order and calm, comes from the practice of postures and breath work."

B.K.S. Iyengar Yoga

What is Metta?
Metta, from the ancient language of Pali, translates into English as loving kindness, generosity, fellowship, peace and harmony. Metta is a strong and unselfish wish for the well being and happiness of others, and evokes within a warm-hearted feeling of compassion and all-embracing love that grows boundless with practice and overcomes all barriers.

It is in this spirit that Metta Yoga exists today as the outward expression of devotion and passion for the practice of yoga, and the way in which this life-transforming practice is brought to others.

May all beings be filled with loving kindness
May all beings be well
May all beings be compassionate
May all beings be peaceful and at ease
May all beings be happy
