What is Restorative Yoga?
Restorative yoga brings complete relaxation through fully supported traditional yoga poses. Using blankets, bolsters, sandbags and more, we create an environment where deep relaxation can occur. Adding breath work and positive imagery, these supported postures gently open the body to deep relaxation and healing.
These classes are ideal for those going through stressful times, suffering from illness, injury or major life changes. Postures are held for extended times with the support of props.  20-30 minutes in a restorative posture is said to be equivalent to 2 hours of sleep.
